20 Crews of AKAP Bus in Kalideres Terminal Undergo Urine Test

As many as 20 crews of Intercity-Interprovincial (AKAP) in Kalideres Terminal, West Jakarta undergo an urine test. As a result, from 20 bus crews, 17 out of them are negative from drug.

Head of Kalideres AKAP Bus Terminal, Revi Zulkarnen disclosed urine test is conducted to know the health of the driver, including drug use.

Urine Test Held for Pamdal and Cleaning Service

"Urine test for AKAP bus crew is to create convenience and security for the passenger during Christmas and New Year holiday," he stated, Friday (12/23).

He explained, from urine test, 3 out of 20 bus crews are failed from health test. One of them is due to health problems of high blood sugar.

"Urine test will be held until January 9, 2017," he expressed.

According to him, since December 12, 2016, his side also checks the bus eligibility condition. From 266 buses in terminal, 160 out of them are feasible to operate.

"And the rest are not feasible, because of no seat belts, broken glass and speedometer broken," he expressed. 

He added the bus the unfeasible bus is given warning and asked to conduct reparation.

"If not, we will stop the operational," he finished.
